Front and Center
I texted.
And I kinda sorta love the simplicity of this vibe soooooo very much, I do believe this will become the best, brightest, shiniest deco in this house from this day forward. But truth be told ?? I’m embarrassed it took me this long to really, REALLY understand it’s meaning. I mean, I’ve watched A Charlie Brown Christmas every, single year since the beginning of time and I annually emphasize to anyone who will listen THIS !! RIGHT HERE !! IS MY VERY FAVORITE PART !!
that’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.
But after a few waaaaa-s and a quick Kleenex break, right smack back to the busy ! busy ! busy ! I’d be, forgetting all about Linus’ perfect, priceless words.
This year though, it hit me like a ton of bricks, it did, so I pulled out Charlie’s tree (which is normally placed somewhere within and around other trinkets and baubles) and placed it front and center
& YaY
I’ve never felt so inspired about a holiday trimming decision throughout my whole, entire life ! and if 2019, 2020 and 2021 have taught me anything, it’s to trust my friend, Jesus, and to enjoy simpleness. And by golly, that’s exactly what I’ll continue to do.
So MERRY CHRISTMAS CHARLIE BROWN !! and thanks for the lesson I’ve finally learned, sweet Linus.
I never thought it was such a bad little tree either.
