Who am I?

Hello. My name is Jacki.

I am a proud mother of three grownups and the owners of my heart call me Gramma.
My background is in daycare, preschool, and in-home babysitting.

I can honestly say I have been around, next to, or walking with children pretty much my whole life
& I absolutely adore everything about them.

I am also a writer of children’s stories, poems and life’s simple happys
& if you happen to wonder where my inspiration comes from, look no further than a child’s point of view,
every answer I’ll ever need is right there.

Husband and I were born and raised in Highland, IN and we still call that awesome town home.
We are enthusiastic, borderline obsessed Chicago Bears fans / Season Ticket Holders
& our tailgates are pretty darn impressive, if we do say so ourselves.

I have loved Barry Manilow since the beginning of time,
4th of July is my favorite holiday,
& I find it near impossible to end a sentence without an emoji or exclamation point 🙂
