As I was skimming through pictures on my phone yesterday, trying to talk myself into deleting images I no longer need, I stumbled across this gem. These words were in my digital pile of quoted quotes. I wrote them awhile ago and that super nicey niece of mine screenshot them as a reminder that I sometimes conjure up some pretty good sentences.

You. Be YOU.

& as I was flipping through a brand new book I am extremely excited to read last night, I stumbled across this delightful affirmation.

“just the way they are” or better yet, “I like you just the way you are”

oooooh, how I adore Mr Rogers’ mantras !! Embedded into my brain forever, I try to view life and people the way that kind soul viewed life and people. We are alllll so darn special !! and the moment we realize this perfect, priceless secret is the day this world will change.

& as I was watching Monday Night Football two evenings ago because I love those Chicago Bears soooooo !! my eyes were drawn to the big, laminated play sheet Coach Matt Nagy was carrying around. Because of the way he happened to be holding that huge card every time the tv guys popped him on the screen, upside down and in the left corner were the simple, two syllables of  ….”Be You”.

Ain’t it funny how things jump up and out when they really, REALLY want to be noticed ??
