Until Forever
Pardon me if I’m repeating, but honestly, I’m running out of words
& I wish, I genuinely wish, I knew of a number,
a goal,
a location.
Somewhere. Some place. SomeTHING where all the kind souls of this world could meet, greet, unite and try to figure out just how to make this stop.
STOP.
I don’t want to sound grasping at straws frustrated, but if someone could PLEASE explain how an incredibly simple emotion called LOVE can be so, sooooo hard to grasp, so impossible to BE.
I swear it’s like banging my head against the wall, time after time after time again.
For WHAT ??
So somebody else can come along with their bag of hate and spread another form of ugliness around ?
I find it absolutely inconceivable that the purest, most preciously unique emotion of them all can be perceived and dissected and bit by bit destroyed by those who choose to hate.
Oh, they will shine it up, wax it down, big words explain it as correct, but HATE IS HATE IS HATE IS HATE
& I’m so damn tired of hate.
For those who prefer this dismal route, do me a favor, spend some time with a infant, stare into those little eyeballs for a while.
Love’s truest, grandest sparkle will surely shine back.
Or sit in a hospital room with a parent of a sick child.
Ask them if they would trade places, accept every last ounce of their offspring’s pain
& take a wild guess as to what their no questions asked response would be.
Or gather with family and friends of someone who has left this life, let them tell you about the person they hold so dear
& take the time to feel, to know the heartache they carry within.
Or maybe spend some minutes with a soldier or a cop or a firefighter or someone who is wholeheartedly willing to put their life on the line for you, me, US.
Oh, haters.
I cannot fathom where and why and how you think.
To be placed upon this spectacular planet and feel anything but love is totally and completely out of my realm
& for once, just ONCE !! I implore you to wake up and realize how incredibly blessed you are to be HERE in the first place !
I’ve said it a million times and I swear, I will say it a zillion times more
