Hey, Buffalo

Hey, Buffalo

I think I’ve made it pretty, darn clear, I’m a fan,

Hello Winter

but since we’re an entire month and two days away from Winter’s official entrance, and since I ain’t EVER experienced the enormity of what’s happening in your corner of this world,

today’s rerun is for you, Buffalo, ’cause YOU, my friend, are home to some of the finest, most determined, hardest working people I know, and if anyone can handle this snow beast … it’s YOU.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I’ve spent a good portion of these early morning hours peeking out, looking through and standing by my windows to watch, to listen, to admire.

You see, I have been informed by my STORM WATCH Weather Team

yeah-huh

and what is most likely a whole lot worse for those north of where I live, is still rather impressive

and I am, once again, left completely in awe by the powerhouse known as Mother Nature.

WoW.

I seriously cannot get enough !! but before I continue with any other anything, I must give a GIGANTIC Hooray !! to all the people who have to be out and about in this hefty weather.
Roads are creeping, crawling, downright hazardous, but you have no choice, it’s what you do
& to you I hand over my sincere, wholehearted appreciation and applause.
Thank You Thank You
Thank. YOU
If I could, I would make each and every single one of you a batch of cookies.
You are awesome.

Now, barring any tragedies and all those not so good happenings that accompany Mother Nature’s frozen vapor …
dontcha just LOVE a good snowstorm ??
I know I do ! !
I love the ! ! there’s absolutely NOTHING we can do but wait it out ! ! feeling of it all.

SLOW DOWN

STOP

PAY ATTENTION

to Nature and her emotions because she is sooooooo incredibly amazing. From her quiet tranquility to her ultimate fury to the teeny, tiny, every little, itty-bit she does …

& as with every storm, be it Winter
Spring
Summer
or Autumn.
She’ll do her thing, she’ll go about her way and she will leave us to deal
& that, right there !! is my favorite Nature lesson of them all.

We. Deal.

and we gather and we help and we offer and we acknowledge and we communicate and we coordinate and we unite. We hope, we love and we realize that together ?? TOGETHER, we too can be equally, incredibly amazing.

Today she brings a wintry mix of freezing, heavy, slippery, sloppy this and that’s and yet, I’m feeling a heart full of warm

& I thank you, Mother Nature. Oh, how I thank you.

🙂

‘Cause Jesus Told Me So
