My Persons
I’ve dubbed today My Person Day.
Yep.
Because my person is incredibly kind and I value you all so very much.
I first took notice of my person on one of those dark, dismal, doubtful occasions.
I remember it well.
I was under a ‘WHAT ?!?! are you doing ???? WHY ???? are you doing ?!? cloudy cloud.
eek.
Out of nowhere and for no reason, that one person appeared with their light of support
& I whispered !! well THAT was nice !! but, didn’t think much of it until it happened again,
and again
and again.
Different days.
Different people.
A random text, a phone call, an encouraging comment, a like, a wink, a song, a smile.
Quietly and unexpectedly, my person would sweep in on both good days and bad with a powerful you got this !!
They propped me up is what they did, it’s what they do.
Someone, somehow, somewhere is always there for me.
A happy little individual with their simple words of positive, that pat on the back, that ‘Oh YES, you can’.
So today, I absolutely need to hand out a whole lotta appreciates.
For being. For doing. For everything.
Your encouragement fuels me
& your unselfish ways have truly changed my world.
You are my persons.
You are my friends
& I would not, could not be here or do this without you.
