I wrote these words three years ago, today.
uh-huh.
You read it right.
Today is my 1,096th day of no,
no sharing this blog on social media, that is
No Facebook.
No Twitter/X.
No Instagram.
Crazy move, some have said,
WHAT ??? WHY ??? others wondered,
but when I look back at what leaving has gifted, the peace of mind, the quietness when writing, the release of the heavy, the noise and negativity ??
ahhhhhh.
There’s no place I’d rather be
& dare I say, proud, I am.
