Looking Back
These past few days, as the world glanced back to 4 years ago … I’ve been doing a little soul-searching
& hmmm, Covid-19.
While in your vortex, I think ?? I tried my darnedest to see the reasons and the why ???
to look for bright.
But I realize, you and I, we’ve had our moments,
our, I seriously do not understand !! dilemmas
& now that I’ve stepped away from your noise and am looking at you from an entirely different angle,
I wonder, what exactly did I learn from the intrusion, the monstrosity of you ??
Eyes opened to true (beautiful or not so) colors, for sure,
vibe reminded, slow and steady really does win the race,
heart broken by some, invigorated by others,
patience, tested,
energy zapped.
YeP.
There were times I wanted to stay hidden forever
and times I ached for those days and days and days before.
But 4 years out and through it all, Covid
there was hope
upside down, toppled, turned, tattered, torn,
continually sought, continually found,
renewed
realigned
never ending,
for always and forever,
HOPE
& for me, that’s the best, most difficult lesson of all.
