My Happy :) Happy Book

Way back in January, 2017, I wrote

and in January, 2020, I reaffirmed with

& YaY, I can proudly say, I’ve committed to jotting down a little bit of pleasant, daily, for 5 years now and guess what ?? when one seeks, one definitely finds !! as delightful is really, truly everywhere (yep, even on those crummy days).

So. There I was, early April, 2022 deciding what to pack and how to condense for a road trip to wonderful. And hmmm, Happy Book. Should I or shouldn’t I ?? Turns out, after a much too time consuming debate with my brain, I decided Happy Book would remain behind, I would pen my joys as they happened and continue my gleeful journal once I returned home.

Little did I realize, Sidetrack, would welcome be back with a do this and that and don’t forget and wait a minute and you gotta and you must and hey now andandand … and when I actually sat down to fill in the blanks on those patiently waiting pages ?? WHOA. Empty never looked so huge.

Now I guess I could just orange sharpie this whole lovely month of April with !! exclamation points !! and smiley faces 🙂 and FUN FUN FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but these moments with my peeps deserve their due praise, so turtle pace and steady, I’m taking a few minutes each a.m. to catch up and place these memories into history.
