Before Sunrise
Well, by golly, after days of checking my early morning window, with cloudiness hovering about, like magic, today, there they be

all lined up, nice and proper …
just like the souls who study these things told me …
& WoW. I can’t stop gazing
& if I haven’t exclaimed a zillion times before, predawn is my very favorite time of day.
I love the stillness, the quiet, the simple, often unnoticed melodies of cheery, chirpy birds
& yes, the sunrise.
So hey, Saturn. Mars. Venus. Jupiter. Moon and Sun. You best believe my perspective is checked, cause moments like this make my insides overflow with completely amazed and extremely humbled, happy bubbles.

& ooops. Here come those clouds to block my perfect view, but noooooo worries, Planets, I know you’re there, doing your thing, as I am here, doing mine
& yep, I promise.
I’ll be looking. I’ll be listening.
I’ll be fascinated. I’ll be awestruck.
I’ll be hopeful and grateful
& I will sooooo enjoy another beautiful day on this lovely, pale blue dot in the sky.
