Although we had been nagging him with you should ! you must ! please doooooo !! it wasn’t until mid-January, after being informed the Pfizer vaccine was available at a local hospital, much to our relieved surprise, he answered

& this morning, I double-mask drove the guy we call Dad to receive his 2nd dose.

! ! !

Truth be told ?? I’m a smidge nervous about it, mainly because of the what-ifs ?? and I’m secretly preparing my emotions for the possibility of MIGHT

I mean, when it’s my turn to get that shot in my arm, I’ll take it !! side effects and whatever !! But today, it’s Dad

and …
yep.

I keep going back to a beautiful tweet by Dr. Nahid Bhadelia though …

because it eases my mind to realize we’re all in this together.

Dad will turn 89 in seven days, he’s had quite the experiences in his remarkable, truly unselfish lifetime and I agree, Doctor,
I love him.
I can’t bear the idea of losing him to this horrible virus.
I want this feeling for everyone.

He said SURE

side effects (?? maybe ??)  and all.
