& truth be told ?? I came THISCLOSE to stepping on him because, really now, Insignificant Dude , WHAT in the world were you even doing out there ??!?? It’s breezy, it’s COLD and shouldn’t you be safe and sound and warm and hidden somewhere for the winter ??
But, boy oooooh boy !! Mister, you sure put the wheels of my brain in motion !! ’cause LOOK AT YOU !! you’re a teeny, tiny, minuscule SPECK and had I not looked down at that precise moment in time ?? you’d be a very squooshed speck right now.
But, there you were, minding your own business, trudging from Point A to Point B, determinedly getting things done and you, Sir, have taught me quite a valuable lesson.
You’ve reminded me of just how microscopic I am in this absolutely magnificent universe and that I too have a path to follow, a job to do, a reason to be. You showed me that if I stay on course and slow, steady and steadfastly continue to do, if I pay no nevermind to those what ifs and “impossible!!” chants on what sometimes seems like an endlessly uphill road, that if I simply accomplish what is right in front of me
& that I, in the great big, grand scheme of things am important too.
