He’s got one too.
A roadmap of the ancestor upon ancestor upon ancestor who lived their life,
who walked this path,
who passed the torch so that he could BE.
I could BE.
& guess what ?
you and you and youyouyouyouyouyouyou
and YOU have this collaboration too
& how we aren’t dancing in the streets every. single. day. over this amazing fact is absolutely beyond me.
‘Cause when I think of the family trees,
the traditions,
the love, passed generation to generation,
from aunts
& simple, wonderful days that brought each and every one of us to
our here, our now
&
DANG
what a phenomenal privilege it is to be alive.
So.
Yeah.
I think I’ll make a t-shirt
or design a hat,
maybe a poster
or place a frame upon my wall
I’ll say it LOUD
I’ll sing it proud.
