Happy Everything

Back when I was loyal to USPS-ing holiday merry, I would find myself in our local Hallmark, staring and pondering and hmmm-ing and humming, until finally deciding on which words expressed exactly what I hoped to convey to the certain someones in my life.
And each of those cards I soooo diligently handpicked were fine and fine, I’m sure
but every year, as I’d walk out of that store, I’d whispered, !! HEY, I can write like that !!  I KNOW I can !!
& so, one day, I sat myself down and …
