We’ve Gotta Stop Meeting Like This

We’ve Gotta Stop Meeting Like This

People are gonna talk.

You again ??!?

Sure is a beautiful day

See you next time.

These are just a few of the comments we throw back and forth as our paths cross, again. We’ve never officially met, but it doesn’t seem to matter. He is a smile, a ray of sunshine, a happy someone on my walk and I appreciate his shine.

We see each other at precisely the same spot almost every day, as if our steps have been magically synchronized  & when I notice him strolling my way, I can’t help but wonder about this stranger and his morning routine, paralleling mine.

Coffee. Cereal. Shower. Shoes.

Vehicle entered, maneuvered, parked.

Pods in. Music on

and ahhhhhh.

Heaven

& yep, I see familiar faces all the time, as we creatures of habit get locked into our daily routines and visits to the park. Hellos and how ya doing ? happen quite often. But some folks add a little, bitty more. They are brighter, cheerier, offering their simple something to brighten a moment, a day

& when we move on, he in his life, me with mine, I feel a need to continue that glow. Pass it on to the next person and the next and the next so they might feel that sparkle too.

Oh people.  !! PEOPLE !!

It’s soooooo darn easy !!

How’s about we try to be that someone with the pinch-y pinch extra ?? Today, tomorrow and all the days after. Because imagine. Just imagine !! the domino effect of me and you and you and youyouyouyouyouyou and YOU.

Of US.

WoW.

Hey, guy in the green coat ? Thanks.

& fyi … I hope we never, ever stop meeting like this.

🙂
