#2 appeared in the form of a deer. Walking my walk yesterday, I quite literally crossed paths with a buck. TWICE. Both times, this magnificent critter, stood his grand self on the concrete trail and watched as I approached. No. Fear. We gazed at each other as if we were old friends meeting up for a visit. And seriously, once was spectacular !! but twice, ?? it happened twice !! So, per usual, I googled …

So there I was, smiling good mornings and finishing up this most excellent step adventure with Barry serenading my ears, when #3 entered my world. At first, I thought she was talking to her phone, as some people carry on conversations among the trees. And truth be told ?? what I heard was muffled anyways, ’cause I was lost in musical notes, but then she said it clearer, louder, again … Where’s your husband ??!!?
As I explained, he oftentimes exercises at the community center … a look of relief crossed her face as she exclaimed OH GOOD !! So he’s ok … ! … And what a feeling it is to be noticed when you think no one notices, I appreciated (with exclamation points) ’twas a Happy Book entry FOR. SURE.
