oops

Because of a glitch in our cable system and/or the super, strong 60 mph wind gusts yesterday, this house I call home was without tv or WiFi for a solid 24 hours

! gasp !!

It’s true. Shutdown and unplugged, we were AND we actually survived !!  WE SURVIVED !!

Truth be told ? I can’t say I minded the non-noise at alllllll. And since Husband and I are in the middle of a do-it-ourselves project, we spent the time consumed in the this and that’s of fixing-upping and yep, accomplish, we did.

But this morning, as I turned on the coffee pot and made the short trek to where I conjure up this daily blog, I had to remind myself … HEY !!  I’m disconnected from humankind !! and HEY !! I’m going to have to write the old-fashioned way !!

& Helloooooo scribble time !!

I’ve missed your simpleness, your scratch out here, your typo there, where every mistake I make is right smack in front of my very own eyeballs.  No delete, no backspace, just a whole lotta rambling, never mind, mish-mash.

oops! I Made A Mistake

That simple song still makes my heart go mushy because it’s so darn true. We ALL make mistakes !! And imagine, just imagine !! if we adults accepted this profoundly genuine lesson and actually lived it too ?? If we took proprietorship of our mistakes ?? If we were THAT true and honest to ourselves and each other ?? If we dared claim responsibility for each and every not so good decision or action or choice or idea we’ve ever made ??

uh huh.

I. Did. It. I. Broke. It. I. Messed. Up. BIG. Time. And I will accept everything that comes with my sincere, straightforward, true blue, upfront affirmation.

As you can see, the powers that be fixed my internet problems and my sentences and I have magically made their way to your reading space. But a lesson has definitely been recognized ♥ and hmmm, I think I’ll scribble-scrabble, fess-up and acknowledge my mistakes more often !
