It’s You Yourself
I’m not 100% positive he really even wanted to but, Dad and I went to see the Mr Rogers movie, aka ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor’, yesterday.
It’s a belated / extended birthday habit we have fallen into that we both find rather pleasant. A day, a matinee and a Hamburger Deluxe at our favorite restaurant. This year took awhile to accomplish though, as the choices of movies weren’t anything we deemed worth seeing, his travels, my travels, this, that’s and other things and ta-da !! it’s the middle of July already !!
& when I mentioned Fred Rogers as an option ? Truth be told ? I think he’s just too nice to say no.
So, there we were, finally. Our big theater day.
!! YaY !!
& I cannot think of a better way to spend my hours. Sitting with the kindest soul I know, viewing moments of a man truly on a mission
& when they came to the part where these priceless words were sung ??

Yeah. I came thisclose to being transformed into a mound of mush & ooooooh Mr Rogers !! you have no idea how your simple syllables touch the innermost part of my being
& I think. There. RIGHT. THERE !! is what this whole ball of wax, what WE are alllllll about
& if each one of us would only touch and treasure that perfect genuineness and see how truly priceless this gift of life is ??
WoW. WEEEEEE.
I quiver with joy at the very thought. I doooooooo !!
