! Sunglasses & an Umbrella !
Now, THERE’s a Hopeful Heart !
he exclaimed
& being a bit caught off guard by his enthusiasm, I assume I looked puzzled.
! Sunglasses & an umbrella !
he instantly responded.
HA.
Oh yeah.
I was wearing sunglasses as I detoured raindrops with my orange umbrella,
so, YEP, I acknowledged.
There’s sunshine out there, somewhere !
We wished each other a great day, off he trekked, off I trotted, in opposite directions on our awesome trail.
& I thought,
of all the nice words I’ve been gifted throughout my lifetime, I do believe Hopeful Heart will be placed in my Top 10.
Changed my outlook, they did.
I mean, I wasn’t grumpy or any of that negative biz, but I was wondering why the weather peeps weren’t a tad more specific in their 20% chance of scattered storms prediction, so my vibe might have emitted a whole lotta, urgh.
But along came this smiling someone, offering his unique perspective with a wham-o of a reminder of just how incredibly easy it is to brighten a day.
When I made it back to the parking lot, my sunglasses, orange umbrella,
and hopeful heart, glanced up to discover,
uh-huh
I knew there was sunshine out there, somewhere.
