Delightfully Right
Since the day I promised, I would
there I be, every early a.m. with my one, whispered request,
shhhhhh
I’m not all that certain what precise answer I expect as I gaze at the sky,
a lightning bolt of HERE YOU GOOOOO ?
a ! ta-da ! there it is ?
but what I experience each day is a comfortably cozy acknowledgement of yep,
my here and now, although not BIG, BOLD or BOISTEROUS,
feels delightfully right.
& so, with the encouragement of others,
I continue writing words,
placing books,
striving for what I hope the universe expects of me.

And then,
shhhhhh
one morning, there she waited,
unassuming, still, quietly carrying on with her rabbit vibe
day 1
day 2
day 3
same spot, same doings
& so, on day 4, I inquired, just what are you trying to tell me little critter ??
She was not there on Day 5.
I’m figuring she knew, her message, I received.
I appreciate your gentle reminder, dear Universe.
& yes,
I’ll recognize.
I’ll build.
I’ll listen.
I’ll trust.
’cause my here and now, although not BIG, BOLD or BOISTEROUS
really, truly feels delightfully right.
