he quietly exclaims,
as he takes a ride in his wagon,
as he plays with his toys,
as he looks out the window,
as he gobbles up a brand new, favorite fruit …
Happy to simply be,
he reminds, reminds, reminds just how incredibly wonderful he, we, !! THIS !!
It’s hard to believe he’s one year old today
& just last May, we welcomed him in.
Oh, Time.

you continue to fly.
But after spending many minutes with this sweet soul recently,
after slowing my pace to equal his,
after viewing this thing called life through those innocent eyeballs,
enjoying each and every HERE,
each and every NOW
