rain rain
It’s been raining these last few days
& I mean RAIN
Like rain, rain, GO AWAY already rain
It’s steady.
It’s strong.
It’s stubbornly continuous
& we all know how much I love the pitter-patter of those falling drops, but c’mon now.
Enough.
Enough, please.
You’re messing with my head, Rain.
You’re making me want to hole up and hunker down and never leave the premises.
Why bother ??
It’s raining.
urgh
But just as I was inching towards this somewhat dismal, not so wonderful place in my brain yesterday,
I took a look out the window and
WoW
Spring, in all her quiet revelry was peeking back at me with a brand new, bright and pretty, I’m here, here I am exclamation of !! GREEN !!
YaY
Because along with green come the others.
The blues and the purples and the yellows and the reds and the sights and the scents and the sounds
& the buds and the flowers andandandand….
and
We’re green again
& uh, nope.
No, I don’t know what my weather peeps are predicting for today.
But hey, you know what ?
I really don’t care how much precipitation may or may not be in the forecast.
A kaleidoscope of wonderful has arrived.
