and dang, I ADORE Winter.

They moan, they groan, WHY ??!??
they continually wonder, HOW ??!??
and often mutter words like, You CAN’T be serious !!
But I am.
And yes, I very much do
& even though every single everywhere I look these days, I’m being told and reminded and constantly informed …
Bundle up. Today, life-threatening wind chills will hit the Midwest and Great Lakes. It’s expected to last several days with the potential of breaking temperature records.
I still love Winter.
Yes, it’s going to be brutal out there and we must take every precaution to watch ourselves,
be careful, mindful
and, if outside, avoid taking deep breaths, and minimize talking.

Have you ever notice how nice humans become when we have a common denominator of storms or crisis or the sky is falling atmospheres ??
It’s THAT.
That’s what I love.
The we’re in this together and, by golly, we will deal with it together kindness we feel towards each other
& oooooh, people, people, people.
A good dose of nature sure brings out our true colors, doesn’t it ??
The helpers will always help.
The complainers will always complain.
The take chargers will always take charge.
Life changing events continue to reveal the best and worse of WE, the people.
Positives react positive.
Negatives react negative
but fortunately for us, the positives tend to outnumber those grumps all the time, every time.
And !! YaY !!
the power of nature sure is mind boggling, isn’t it ??!!??
Whether it’s an epic snow storm, a tornado, earthquake or hurricane, a breathtaking sunrise or sunset …
Nature is amazing.
& no matter what she hands us, her absolute awesomeness commands our respect.
So yes, Winter, I do love you and I pinky-swear promise to be vigilant.
I will drip those pipes and watch my step and drive s l o w, s l o w, s l o w l y and wear my layers and use common sense.
And I will delight in the knowledge that WE will help one another get through.
Again and again and again and again …..
