Me Too
I was looking for a quote, a simple something this gentle man, almost as an afterthought, expressed when I stumbled upon these words …
Imagine what our real neighborhoods would look like if each of us offered, as a matter of course, just one kind word to another person … One kind empathetic word has a wonderful way of turning into many.
& I thought, wow.
One. Kind. Word.
To you and me. To him and her. To they and them. To each and every and presto ! just like that ! ta-da !! A domino effect of positively delightful !!
ONE.
Not two or five or a trillion.
ONE. KIND. WORD.
Whoa. Kinda blows my mind, it does, because it’s incredibly uncomplicated, wonderfully perfect and !! Yes !! it really can be THAT easy.
So, YaY. I will accept this loving challenge ! Starting today, starting right now.
words of ONE will be handed, given, passed around and shared
& to paraphrase that unpretentious sentence said, in passing, by a truly remarkable soul …
It makes sense to me.
& me too, Mr Rogers.
Me too.
🙂
