My Must Adjust

My Must Adjust

Every once in a long while but not very often, my back decides it’s time to take a couple days off to relax on the recliner and yesterday, with an enthusiastic ouch !!  we did just that. Life in the Corona Slow Lane just got slower.

boo

& believe me when I say, I’m not telling you this to receive your sympathy ’cause I know you’re a nicey and will feel that need

& although my initial reaction was the per-usual nonononono and waaaawaaaawaaaaa and whywhyWHY ??!!?? now that I’ve had time to ponder, I’ve amended, I’ve adjusted

and yep, I’ll deal.

The way I see it, my choices are limited.

I can either insist and gripe and huff and puff and go about my business anyway and damn the consequences

or

surrender to it and roll with it’s flow and know, in due time, life will return to where it was before

& so,

I’ll write with my laptop on the washer because it feels better when I stand and I’ll take those baby steps and make no sudden moves and sit when my brain tells me to sit and nap if I must and wake up earlier than early with delight in the fact that those birds are cheerfully chirping at 3:30 a.m. and go about this brand new today determinedly turtle-ish

& realize it is what it is and this too, in time, shall pass.

Here’s to Friday, my fellow #stayhome turtles.

! ! YaY ! !

with BIG CHEERS to rolling with the flowing, accepting and enjoying YOUR adjust.

🙂

Oh Yes I Can
