Dusty Golf Clubs
Her name is Shirlee and three times she has knocked on the door and entered my house. She comes by request, to pick up and take a much used speaker system, an old printer, dusty golf clubs.
Her smile shines genuineness and her BIG HUG envelopes with such delightful comfort that I am positive I have known this woman somewhere before.
She’s a talker and a remember-er as she casually quotes words I expressed last time our paths crossed which, not surprisingly, I have forgotten.
Shirlee takes our used this and thats’ with happy glee as she is certain the people of her church have been needing and wanting these items and !! YaY !! Husband and I are equally thrilled to not throw these simple randomnesses away.

Shirlee has been hunkered in my brain since we parted ways yesterday. I’m wondering about her life, about how she came to this awesome space of meeting, greeting and becoming sincerely thrilled to take what I offer and give it to another and I am certain she has quite the story to tell. Next time I see her, I’m going to take notes. For Sure.

and you and youandyouandyouyouyou !! because, really now, don’t we all have a super-duper tale ??!? ooooooh YES, we do !! and as I’m sitting here pondering my morning ponders, I’m thinking how I’d LOVE to hear them all.
