I’m trying to remember the last time I cried,
I mean really, REALLY cried.
& honestly ?
hmmmm.
& I’m thinking,
yep,
I’ve been known to build a few walls,
hunker in and close myself off with a solid I’m a Taurus excuse
& yeah
I’m pretty positive that’s not helpful or healthy, but it is what it is and those who know me best realize it’s what I do.
I wrote a poem or two about grief after
left
this
life.
Penned a children’s story too
explaining the importance of tears
But seriously, WHEN was the last time I cried ??
I mean really, REALLY …

Maybe ?? I’ve just detached myself from this particular emotion ??
But I’d rather think it’s because I trust
so much,
I know, no matter what I encounter on this journey,
He’s got my back.
