That’s. Me.
It was one of the first times Nephew read

to his daughter, when she quietly acknowledged,
that’s. me.
and as my insides went mushy, I completely agreed, ’cause
is my favorite autobiography.

Seems Grandson has loved books since the day he entered this world,
but to hear my words narrated to this boy by his daddy’s enthusiastic voice is a vibe I find near impossible to describe
&

never felt so good.
Washing dishes a few feet away when
was read to an interested someone, I didn’t dare look up, or acknowledge or disturb.

But a quick smidge of a glance in their direction caught the pure genuineness I hoped to find
and was allllllll I needed to see.
Because this heart-filled sincerity, gifted by young souls, is what I adore most and treasure best,
for they lift, they nudge, they remind me why I continue to do
& yep,
that’s you
that’s me
that’s us.
