I’ve been spending many of my August moments with Grandboys
& it has been great !
Simple busyness, interesting conversations, baby smiles and YeP,
THAT’S what I call perfect.
Hanging with a 9 and 6 year old, and a few days later, a 3 month old is seriously my kind of heaven. .
Viewing life from their unique points of view gifts beautiful wonder, as they are genuinely delighted, just to be.
Ask me about anything that’s been happening on our planet though, and I won’t be able to tell you a doggone thing.
Nope.
I have no clue.
I have been temporarily pulled away from the noise and placed in a world of curiosity, love and glee
& I not only ADORE it,
I highly recommend.
Step away, if only for a day or two.
Turn off the tv, shun the phone, pull the plug on ugly.
Become unapologetic-ally naive.
Listen to those chirping birds.
Watch that bug crawl.
Smell the flowers.
Stop in your tracks and smile
& just shh, shhh, shhhhhhhh.
Listen
& welcome in pure.
Oh yeah.
It’s awesome.
I know it won’t be long, like it or not, I will be pulled into that cluttered vortex of reality, once again.
But for today, tomorrow
& maybe the next, next, next …
I’m choosing a child’s view.
