Finding Words

Finding Words

A numb ache is all I have at this moment and try as I might to find words of hope or helpfulness or bright … I’m coming up empty. So many questions of why ???? WHY ??!?

& who cares what I’m feeling, right ?? ’cause anyone with a heart is experiencing the same. It’s tragic. It’s horrific. It’s beyond comprehension. It’s rock bottom.

And I wonder, as these young souls left their earthly bodies in such an unspeakable way … what did they see ?? who were their greeters ? did they gather with others who’ve experienced the same ?? were they comforted and promised forever safe, it’s better here, hate cannot exist in this glorious place called Heaven ??

I envision angels.

Not the winged, glow-y kind I was taught about in my youth, I mean ANGELS.  Moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas and friends and uncles and aunties and cousins and helpers and healers and puppies and kittens and flowers and balloons and colors and castles and beauty and every possible wonderfulness imaginable. I see love in it’s most perfect form. I see a brilliant light overshadowing a mountain of darkness.

I see Jesus.

& knowing, trusting, believing those sweet souls are with Jesus is what I’m clutching, as try as I might to find words of hope or helpfulness or bright …
