Just Because

I’m not much of a shopper.
In fact, I avoid any form of mall or mart or center or plaza as much as I possibly can.
My basic rule of thumb is, if it’s crowded, I won’t be there. But, every once in awhile, despite my ‘I DON’T WANNA!!’, I must venture out and purchase
& when I do, what I do is head over to obscure, oddball, small town-ish because in those types of stores, I find unique
& I adore unique.

Now, I’m not talking fancy.
I’m talking goofy, cute, simple, random.

Trouble with me though ?? I’ll be looking for one thing and I’ll be tempted by a million.
Oooooo so and so would love this !
Oooooo this is perfect for !
Oooooo this reminds me of !
& most of the time, I walk out with my small bag of goodies thinking, I’LL BE BACK for you other silly gifts because it will make the someone I’m thinking about soooooo happy.
But, we all know that won’t happen.
Because it’s shopping
& I evade shopping.

Welp.
Today I am thinking I will be changing my ways because I’ve recently experienced the priceless joy of a just because
& I cannot tell you how warm and cozy and lovely my heart if feeling today.
Someone took the time out of their busyness and thought I might like
& they were right.
I do.
I so do.

Which got me to thinking.
Imagine this world if we all, every single one of us, every single day lived our life in the ‘just because’

! ! ! ! !

I thought of you, so here you go
just because.
I’ll hold the door open
just because.
I’ll smile your way
just because.
I’ll volunteer
just because.
I’ll let you go first
just because.
I’ll I’ll I’ll I’ll I’ll I’ll I’ll
JUST. BECAUSE.

The domino effect would be absolutely delightful
& we would thrive in a world full of niceys !!
