Team Tidy
The way I see it, there are two types of people in this world …
Those who prefer to make their bed each and every morning
aka Team Tidy
&
Those who would rather not
aka Team Eh.
& after researching this topic for many, many years by simply living with certain people, I’ve come to one, undeniable conclusion.
Each team is very opinionated, completely locked in and totally committed as to why they do what they do
& there’s no changing those stubborn ways, so don’t even bother to try.
HUMPH.
Team Tidy ?
Oh, they believe in the ‘just in case’ reasoning.
You just never know when that random someone will wander in to scrutinize those bed making abilities
& that bed better look neat and orderly.
Just. In. Case.
Team Eh is more into the blankets are going to get messed up again anyways theory.
The always cozy looking look.
The ‘why bother’ ?
It’s just a silly, unnecessary waste of precious time and energy.
So relax, my peeps.
Just relax.
If these two personalities happen to reside in the same household ?
Yep.
It is a continuous battle of
‘A place for everything and everything in it’s place’
versus
‘Life has no rules & whooooo will care ?!??’
Well.
Just because I know you are a curious one, I shall hand over a secret and confess to the team I sway.

I am a card carrying, devoted member of Team Tidy.

There’s just something about a freshly made bed that’s just so nice and nice.
It’s crisp and clean and all that good stuff.

It’s just too darn bad I live in the Land of Me and My Life.

That’s a good one.
I have experienced a million ways and a zillion days of disheveled
& I’ve become quite accomplished at ‘I’ll get to it later’
But.
I do try Team Tidy.
At least, I try.
Fortunately for me though, that randomly random bed scrutineer has never happened by.

But honestly, if he did come a-calling at this point in time …?…
