What ♥ A ♥ Difference
Funny, how words written on a grumpy, 2017 morn, found their way to me this a.m.
Some days I wake up and swear I am reliving yesterday
& the day before yesterday
& the day before that one too.
same ole. same ole
& some days all those same days just seem to clump together into one big lump of nothing ever changes
& I sometimes fight to keep from jumping into that vortex of ! UGH !
ugh
cause it seems this first month of 2026,
with it’s continual barrage of BREAKING NEWS and winter storms, has ushered in a bit of negativity to my vibe.
as try as I might, to keep things positive,
in this quiet place, dubbed blog.
And funny, how the universe so often gifts a perfect timing, simple whisper of shhhhh
to remedy what ails my heart
& how yesterday, words of an encouraging someone
opened my eyeballs and my soul
to remind me of what I already know.
& how the priceless energy of gratitude can change
every. little. everything.
ahhhhh.
& so today, I once again, am shushing the noise of this world
to refocus,
to recharge,
to thank the stars above for the good in my life.
My children’s books,
my poems,
my decisions
and stubbornness.
My family,
my friends,
those who have been placed upon my path,
those who have helped me along the way,
this house, my home for so many years,
my travels from here to there
and the sometimes zig-zaggy-ness of what brought me to my today,
THIS DAY.
& WoW
What a difference a heart full of THANK YOU makes.
