♥ Wondering ♥

Men’s swimming happened to be on the tv as Grandboys, Husband and I wrapped up our Tuesday. And with a passing comment, as I maneuvered 7 year old to his evening shower, I exclaimed, I bet he was a fish in another lifetime …

He and I made it to the bathroom, with me adjusting the water temp to more cold than hot, Gramma Jacki, when this sweetest of souls continued,

I wonder who I was in another lifetime ?

hmmmm, I pondered, hmmmmm.

But wait !! he stop everything !! paused
what about Heaven ?? Do you get to go to Heaven before you start your next lifetime ??

I think you do, said me.

Like for how long ?? A day ?? A year ??

I mean, I don’t know for certain, but I figure you get to stay in Heaven if you want to stay in Heaven, but if you feel you’d like to come back and try again, well … that works too.

Will you wait  for me to get there ?? so we can do another life together ??

Oh sure !! I’ll wait for you !

But how will you KNOW it’s me ??

‘Cause I’ll always know it’s you, no matter what !!

& with that sincerity filled vow, we moved on to bar or liquid soap ?? and our p.m. happily winded down.
But as I’m sitting here this morning ?? You best believe I’m loving the fact, children hand us gifts of priceless-ness  all. the. time.
& allllllll we adults have to do is pay attention,
shhhhhhhh,
listen.
