A giggle here, a chatter there, classic rock softly strumming a few houses down, a spur-of-the-moment campfire next door, two best buds reminiscing on a front porch step and Husband and I hunkered in lawn chairs, happily taking it all in
oh, how I adore the relaxed busyness of Summer.
Birds tweetin’,
squirrels frolicking,
lawnmowers humming,
barbecues grilling,
baseballs flying,
fireflies lighting,
stars shining,
fireworks poppin’,
belly flops and pool floats and bikes and walks and vacations and fests and concerts and and and …
I know you’re not officially here until the 21st of June, Summer, but I’m ok with calling it now
