This is what you have become to me, Negative.
Loud. Obnoxious. Noise.
& starting today, I refuse to listen.

Call me childish if you must but, LALALALALALA, I don’t care.
Because I am tired, Negative.
Tired of your continual drum roll of ugly, awful, hate.

That’s it.
That’s all that seems to exit your mouth
& I am beginning to wonder if you have ever thought a happy thought.
Ever.
Ever ?

It must be so darn difficult, Negative.
To be weighed down by that spiteful, angry anchor of YOU.
I can’t even begin to imagine such a horrible existence.

Do you ever notice the good people of this world, Negative ?
Those kind, caring, genuine human beings out there, everywhere ?
The many beautiful souls ?
They come in a million glorious sizes, wonderful shapes and fantastic colors.
Yep
& you know what ?
They are all very willing to to help and share, they will be your friend, if you only let them.
But, you won’t
because you are just soooooo negative, Negative
& it is impossible for you to see the phenomenon called LOVE.
You are too wrapped up in the gloominess of you

& that’s so sad
& too bad.
But that’s your problem, Negative.
Not mine.
Not anymore.
From this day on, I refuse to let you into my brain.

If it seems as if I am not hearing you ?
That’s right.
